Jennie and Jeff Visit

My sister Jennie and her hubby Jeff came down to see us from OR. Here are some pics of us playing Uno, and a game that Jessa made up called "the everybody gets a pony game." In Jessa's game we all won. She said "because games where only one person wins are just ridiculous!"
Jessa and Caleb love their cousin Jackson. He is one of the most beautiful babies I have ever seen.

Leftover Ham?
I found this easy crockpot recipe for corn chowder. It's delish - it has ham, potatoes, celery, carrots, onion, corn...it's so good! I made it just like this recipe says except instead of adding bullion cubes I added two cans of chicken broth and about 1/2 can of water. And I didn't add peppers, cause we did not have any. Great recipe for leftover Easter ham! :)

Easter Baskets and Easter Dinner

Yeah, the good stuff. All the Easter candy hoopla kinda makes me sick. Caleb had a cadbury egg for breakfast. Yum...scrambled or fried?
We went to my mom's for dinner, she had a ham dinner, potatoes, salads...the works.
The darling baby I am holding is my new nephew Jackson. He is beautiful. I'll have to post a picture where you can see his face. I'm carrying him in a moby wrap (www.mobywrap.com). These things are awesome. It's one long piece of fabric that you can wrap into a carrier, sling, etc. Very granola...but so comfortable. I am so going to buy one for our next baby!
Bring on the Dye

Funny how coloring Easter eggs is SOOO fun for little ones. Jessa was obsessed with 'red and purple' but she ended up throwing in a couple colors. Caleb would keep his egg in the cup for about 2 seconds...he was done in 5 minutes. So he dyed all his eggs again about 3 times!!!
That last picture is not an egg. It's Shane's poor head he cut shaving!!! Ouch...

Jessa's New Bike

We went to Walmart Monday night and Jessa picked out her first two wheeler. It had to be a Dora bike! She rode her bike to the cash register with the biggest grin on her face. All she can talk about his her Dora bike, Backpack and Map...girls are SOOO talkative.
Caleb still loves his car -- and I'm surprised he can move so fast by just shuffling his legs. He is an avid rock and gravel collector...I hope the neighbors don't start complaining. Check out his stash under the seat.
