A little advice from Jessa...

I went to tuck Jessa in bed last night and she was laying on top of her bed. She said "mom, can't I just sleep on top of my covers, so I don't have to make my bed in the morning?"

This girl is brilliant. I wish I had thought of it first.

Elsie Mary Carlson was born Saturday, January 31st at 8:06 am. She was 7 lbs 5 oz and 19 inches long. Here are a few photos for everyone to enjoy. Thanks for everyones thoughts and prayers. Mom and baby are home and doing well.

Jessa and Caleb's cousins from NY came to visit and the kids went trick -or-treating together.

They had so much fun running from house to house getting candy. About half-way through our walk, I realized Caleb's bucket was about twice as full as everyone else's. I was busy talking and didn't notice that after everyone got their candy, Caleb would stand and stare at the person handing out treats. He would usually get a second treat by doing this! Ooops! He's a smart cookie - he knows how to work the system! :)
